RWANDA – LAKE KIVU POWER PROJECT
The realisation is started of the KIVU 56 Methane Gas to Power Project in Lake Kivu, Rwanda.
The project
involves the construction of an integrated methane gas extraction facility and independent power plant. The
project will extract methane from Lake Kivu to generate electricity.
DUC Marine Group from the Netherlands has formed a JV, which will act as Sub-Contractor and will execute the
Offshore works.
The works consists of installation of anchor weights, export pipe line, risers and separators, mooring of
production barges, connecting FRSS riser to barge and installation of intake and discharge lines for WW towers.
