Vacancy: Work planner M/F

Do you ensure that our projects run smoothly? Do you get satisfaction from setting up, coordinating and directing the work preparation in the realization phase? As a work planner you are the indispensable link in the process of tendering, preparation and implementation. Within this position you ensure that the work is prepared as well as possible for your colleagues in the implementation. Moreover, you are the connector between inside and outside, which makes you very important in the optimization of the process and the project. 

As a work planner at DUC Marine Group you are responsible for the correct planning, that sufficient and competent personnel are available, the purchase of materials and you ensure that all necessary items are present on time. You prepare calculations and detail construction parts in [3D] Autocad. You draw up work instructions and determine the time allocation of the work. You identify health and safety risks and you take care of cost control and administrative and financial settlement. You also check drawings and model information against the most recently established standards and specifications. You have close contact with the client as well as with your colleagues from the implementation and design department.

What are you bringing?

You want to develop yourself professionally and you like to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team. You also have good communication and writing skills with a practical eye. You can organize and plan well and you are a real team player. Above all, you become very enthusiastic about hydraulic engineering projects.

Your resume also states:
– A completed MBO education in civil engineering/road and hydraulic engineering, or
– A completed HBO education in civil engineering
– Experience with AutoCad, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is a plus
– Several years of relevant work experience is an advantage
– Affinity with [under]water work
